Emotional Difficulties

Continue Reading Where you left off

“Riya is naughty” एक label है; “Riya independent work शुरू करने के दो मिनट बाद pencil छोड़कर आसपास देखने लगती है” एक observable description है।

🧭 Teacher Lens

⚠️ Label Trap
🎯 Exam Point — Observation
Best teacher response आम तौर पर वह होगा जो behaviour को केवल punishment problem न मानकर context + learning need + emotional state + classroom support के साथ देखे।

NCF for Foundational Stage play, activity, concrete experiences

🧩 Memory Trick — FOCUS
F = Find the trigger/context
O = Observe the actual behaviour
C = Chunk the task
U = Use visual/activity support
S = See whether engagement improves

🌱 Section Summary

Emotional difficulty classroom में sadness, fear, worry, frustration, irritability, withdrawal, excessive crying या sudden changes in participation के रूप में दिख सकती है।

💡 Teacher Talk

🚫 What Not to Do
RTE Act, 2009 में Section 17 physical punishment और mental harassment of a child को prohibit करता है.[6]

👩‍🏫 4. Teacher response: support → teach → monitor

🪜 Support Ladder
1. Context देखें: task, peer interaction, transition, noise, fatigue या instruction।

📝 Exam Lens

Case A — Reading avoidance
Case B — Sudden withdrawal
Best first response: private, respectful check-in, observation and appropriate school support; classmates
Case C — Frequent interruption
🔬 Advanced Insight

📝 7. DSSSB-style Practice Questions

नीचे के सभी questions PRACTICE QUESTION IN EXAM STYLE हैं। इन्हें verified DSSSB PYQs न समझें।

Question 1 — Classroom Scenario

Question 2 — Concept

A. Quiet sitting हमेशा attention का proof है।

Question 3 — Assertion–Reason
Assertion (A): Teacher को emotional behaviour पर तुरंत diagnostic label नहीं लगाना चाहिए।

उत्तर: A और R दोनों सही हैं, और R, A को support करता है।
Question 4 — Comparison

A. Label → punishment
B. Observe context → teach alternative behaviour → monitor
C. Public comparison → isolation
D. Threat → compliance

उत्तर: B.
🎯 Practice Takeaway

⚡ 8. Rapid Revision

Rapid Revision — O-A-E-S
A — Analyse context: task, instruction, peer, transition और environment देखें।
E — Enable: task chunking, modelling, visual cue, activity और emotional support जैसे appropriate supports दें।
S — See change: intervention के बाद participation/behaviour में change monitor करें।

Five exam traps: behaviour = personality नहीं; quiet = attention का automatic proof नहीं; sadness = automatically disorder नहीं; punishment = teaching का substitute नहीं; और एक observation = diagnosis नहीं।

🧠 One-Line Memory

❓ 9. FAQ

NCF for Foundational Stage socio-emotional and ethical development
