Cerebral Palsy

🧭 Topic Map

Classroom में इसका प्रभाव writing, moving between spaces, maintaining posture, handling materials या participating in physical activities में दिख सकता है।

Concept anchor — “Access, not assumption”

Misconception check

Exam Point — Cerebral Palsy is heterogeneous

इसलिए classroom strategy individualized होनी चाहिए, not one-size-fits-all.

🏫 Primary Classroom में वास्तविक Barriers

Class 1–5 में children अक्सर concrete materials, writing, drawing, cutting, खेल और movement-based activities से सीखते हैं।

Classroom demandPossible barrierTeacher lens
Moving around classroomDistance, steps, narrow routesPhysical access और safe route
ManipulativesSmall objects पकड़ने में difficultyMaterial size/handling adapt करना
PE/playMovement demand या balanceGoal-preserving participation

Memory Trick — “GOAL”

G = learning Goal पहचानें; O = physical Obstacle पहचानें; A = access Adapt करें; L = learner की Learning को observe करें।

✏️ Teaching Adaptations: Task

Primary classroom में seating, writing tools, material placement, extra time, response format और movement route जैसी चीजें context के अनुसार बदली जा सकती हैं।

Classroom move — “Same goal, accessible route”

❌ Avoid

✅ Prefer

Writing-related difficulty में pencil grip, suitable writing surface, positioning, alternate response methods या additional time जैसे supports context के अनुसार relevant हो सकते हैं।

Goal what to learn Barrier what blocks access Adapt access + participate

🤝 Participation, Peer Support और Independence

Teacher decision — support without over-helping

Trap alert

Assessment lens

RTE Act 2009 elementary education के legal framework में children with disabilities से संबंधित provisions रखता है।

Collaboration

Educational decision का starting point classroom participation, observable barriers और learner की response to support होना चाहिए। Where specialized assessment or therapy is needed, appropriate professional input relevant रहता है।

Useful collaboration question

🎯 Practice Questions — Exam-style

नीचे दिए गए सभी questions practice questions in exam style हैं।

Q1 — Classroom scenario

Q2 — Definition/concept

Q3 — Assertion–reason

Q4 — Comparison

Q5 — Case study

Q6 — Direct recall

Q7 — Situation-based

Q8 — Classroom decision

⚡ Rapid Revision

Goal → Barrier → Adapt → Participate → Observe.
