Support Planning

Concept anchor
इसलिए support planning “label-first” नहीं, बल्कि need-first approach पर आधारित होनी चाहिए।

Observe → Identify → Adapt
Exam trap
“Same disability = same support” सही नहीं है।

🎯 Educational needs

NEP 2020 equitable and inclusive education

Memory Trick — A-C-C-E-S-S
Access → Communication → Curriculum → Engagement → Support → Self-expression.

Need vs label
Label-first सोचNeed-first planning

🛠️ Support Planning: process

Process-first flavour में सबसे उपयोगी sequence है: Understand the learner → define participation goal → identify barriers → select supports → implement → monitor → revise. RTE Act 2009 का broader educational framework children’s access to schooling and participation से जुड़ा है; specific classroom support हमेशा learner context के अनुसार तय होना चाहिए.[4]

Understand Goal Barrier Support + Review

Goal

“Student will become independent” बहुत broad है। इसके बजाय teacher ऐसा target बना सकता है: “During a familiar classroom task, learner will communicate a choice using the agreed response mode with reduced adult prompting.”

Teacher move

Classroom example

CommunicationAgreed communication mode, visual choices, gestures या assistive method

Avoid this

Advanced Insight

Baseline observation → planned support → learner response → review evidence → revise support.

Exam Point

Collaboration rule
बेहतर record में goal → agreed support → who will implement → what evidence will be reviewed जैसी actionable information हो।

🧠 Practice questions — exam-style, not verified PYQs

नीचे के प्रश्न practice questions in exam style हैं।

Q1 · Classroom-scenario
Q2 · Definition/concept
Q3 · Assertion-reason
Assertion (A): Multiple Disabilities
A. A और R दोनों सही हैं
B. A सही, R गलत
C. A गलत, R सही
Q4 · Case-study
A. Content
D. Assessment impossible
Q5 · Comparison
A. Label → fixed method
B. Barrier → participation goal → support → review
C. Diagnosis → exclusion → remediation
D. Difficulty → lower expectation in every task
Q6 · Direct-recall
Q7 · Scenario
Q8 · Assertion-reason
Assertion (A): Alternative response mode
A. A और R दोनों सही हैं
B. A सही, R गलत
C. A गलत, R सही

⚡ Rapid Revision: last-minute recall

Rapid Revision
  • Multiple Disabilities ≠ one uniform learner profile.
  • Planning starts with learner needs and participation barriers, not the label alone.
  • Sequence: understand → goal → barrier → support → implement → review.
  • Adaptation can change access or response route without automatically lowering the learning goal.
  • Communication support should preserve the learner’s own opportunity to respond.
  • Peer/adult support should enable participation, not routinely replace the learner’s response.
  • Assessment should reveal learning rather than unnecessarily measure an unrelated access barrier.
  • Review evidence should guide revision of the support plan.
Common confusion

❓ FAQ

Multiple Disabilities educational needs support planning DSSSB Notes 2026
