Addressing Mental Health Concerns: Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Well-being and Quality of Life

Mental Health in the Context of Autism

Depression

Anxiety

Support में task expectations स्पष्ट करना, advance information, gradual familiarisation, manageable steps, choice of communication method और agreed break arrangements शामिल हो सकते हैं।

Trauma-related Distress

Trauma-informed response में safety, predictability, control over disclosure, consent और access to qualified support शामिल होते हैं।

Well-being and Quality of Life

Well-being में emotional comfort, physical health, belonging, agency और meaningful activity का अनुभव शामिल हो सकता है। Quality of Life (QoL) इसमें physical wellbeing, emotional state, interpersonal relationships, material conditions, personal development, self-determination, social inclusion और rights जैसे domains शामिल हो सकते हैं।

Quality of Life को केवल symptom reduction से मापना पर्याप्त नहीं।

किसी के लिए independent travel महत्वपूर्ण है; किसी के लिए predictable work, close relationships, private space या creative activity।

Environmental and Individual Supports

Predictability and accessible information

Sensory support

Communication and relationships

Direct and respectful language, AAC, writing, visuals या extra processing time सहायक हो सकते हैं।

Professional care and collaborative support

Monitoring Outcomes
