Specific Learning Disability के Early Signs और Classroom Support

🔎 Core idea

🧩 Memory hook: “Read–Write–Calculate”

Reading-related signs

Writing and spelling signs

Mathematics signs

📌 Exam point

📖 Reading support

Explicit phonics/word work, guided reading, repeated supported practice, visual cues

✍️ Writing support

🔢 Mathematics support

✅ private feedback, guided practice और achievable steps

उसे discussion, pair work, activities, assessment और peer interaction में भी meaningful entry point मिलना चाहिए। [8]

🎯 Classroom situation

NCERT resources school-based screening [9]

ProcessTeacher-facing meaning
Observationकक्षा में behaviour, work samples और learning pattern देखना
Assessment/diagnosisqualified professionals/appropriate agencies द्वारा अधिक formal evaluation
🌱 Teacher takeaway

[10] इसी कारण exam में “teacher should immediately diagnose dyslexia” जैसी option suspect होगी, जबकि “teacher observes, documents, supports and refers appropriately” role-consistent approach है।

🧪 Trap 2 — same support for every learner

🧠 DSSSB memory line

Observe → Document → Support → Refer → Review.

RPwD Act भी children with benchmark disabilities के education rights के लिए specific provisions देता है।[13]

📝 6. Practice Questions — Exam Style

नीचे दिए गए questions practice questions in exam style हैं, verified PYQs नहीं।

⚡ 7. Rapid Revision:

🚀 One-minute revision
  • SLD = heterogeneous group of specific learning difficulties.
  • Common academic areas: reading, writing/spelling, mathematics.
  • Early sign ≠ diagnosis.
  • Teacher: observe + document + support + refer + review.
  • Support should match the learner’s barrier and strengths.
  • Use multiple representations, structured practice and suitable technology where helpful.
  • Do not equate low marks, laziness or one mistake with SLD.
  • Inclusion means meaningful participation, not merely physical presence.

❓ FAQ

Teacher को persistent pattern, domain-specific difficulty, context और response to support देखना चाहिए; formal assessment की जरूरत हो सकती है।
